Peak slateGrey Special Edition is developed for those who want a more raw and modern look. The tent combines a matte hardshell with a stylish slate grey tent fabric and black rainfly, creating a clean and distinctive appearance.

As the rainfly is black, compatible accessories such as the awning, annex, and more are shared with our thunderBlack version.

Peak slateGrey Special Edition is available in both XL with sleeping space for 3 people and XXL with sleeping space for 4 people.

Peak XL is made for spontaneous adventures - and is suitable for three adults or two adults and a child.

The Hardshell box is ideally sized to fit on the roof of most cars. What's smart though, is that the rooftop tent folds out over the side of the car, which provides you a larger lying area than other rooftop tents.

The roof tent is designed with skylight and side windows, which gives you great ventilation and nice daylight. And when it's bedtime, you can enjoy the view of the beautiful stellar sky from all sides.

You do not have to worry about curious glances or unwanted visits from bugs and insects, as the rooftop tent has a tightly meshed mosquito net in all openings. The fixed tent fabric also creates privacy. The tent fabric is made of durable and breathable poly-cotton, which goes perfectly hand-in-hand with the Nordic climate.

Peak comes with a 40 mm mattress, which can advantageously be combined with our anti-condensation mat, cut to size and placed underneath the original mattress. This helps prevent condensation under the mattress while also providing extra sleeping comfort.
If you want even more luxury, you can upgrade to our fantastic Deluxe mattresses. By replacing the original mattress with our Deluxe mattress, it can be stored inside the tent during transport once deflated.

You can fit an awning or an annex so that you can enjoy the late evening hours without fog and rain – or create a shady oasis on a hot summer day.

We always recommend ordering a Tent Tie Down, which tightens the roof tent up well, so it stands nice and stretched, and also secures the tent in bad weather.

It is also possible to buy various other accessories such as inside storage pockets, thermo inner tent, and a tent lift for easy installation of the roof tent to your car and also offer a nice place to store the tent when not in use.

Weight limits Pay attention to the maximum roof weight of your car. When you store things in the tent while driving, you add to the total weight. All included accessories and optional accessories are not included in the net weight of the tent. It is possible to reduce the weight on the roof of the car by removing the standard mattress and using Deluxe mattresses instead, which can be stored rolled up in the car while driving. It is also possible to remove the ladder for more weight reduction.

Assembly

Simply install the roof tent on the roof racks and mount the included brackets that will fit most roof racks - regardless of whether the roof racks are square or have a wing profile.

Before ordering, it is a good idea to check the dynamic roof weight of your car. You can look it up at www.car.info or in the car's manual. This weight is the maximum weight of the car while driving. When the car stops, it's a different matter. Here the weight became static, and the car and roof racks can hold an incredible amount of weight, so you can easily climb three or four people up in the tent.
